Introducing Headknot: your tools, turned into answers
Your knowledge is scattered across Slack, Notion, Drive and a dozen other tools. Headknot connects them into a living knowledge graph you can simply ask.
Every team's knowledge lives in too many places at once. A decision gets made in a Slack thread, documented in Notion, revised in a Google Doc, and referenced in a Jira ticket — and three weeks later nobody can find the thread that started it.
Headknot fixes that by treating your knowledge the way it actually behaves: as a living, connected graph rather than a pile of documents.
Connect, don't copy
You don't upload files into Headknot. You connect the tools you already use — Slack, Notion, Google Drive, GitHub, Jira, Confluence and more — and Headknot keeps a continuously updated understanding of what's in them.
- New content is ingested automatically as it appears.
- Entities, claims and relationships are extracted with LLMs.
- Everything is linked into one graph, scoped to your workspace.
Ask, and get an actual answer
Once your tools are connected, you can ask questions in plain language:
"What did we decide about the pricing model, and who owned it?"
Instead of ten blue links, you get a synthesized answer with the reasoning and the sources it drew from — so you can trust it and dig deeper.
Why a graph?
Documents go stale. A graph evolves. Because Headknot models knowledge as time-indexed observations that roll up into entities and relationships, it can answer questions about how understanding changed over time, not just what a single document says today.
That's the foundation we're building on — and this blog is where we'll share what comes next.
